Fliggo has answered my prayers: a secure, slick and simple site to store and share my personal and family video clips.

The service allows you yo create separate video blogs which can be password-protected. The quality of the flash videos creted is very good although you can get HD quality for premium subscription.

Each channel or blog you create can be customised (although limited range of themes currently available).

Sign-up is fast and seamless. As the site has been recently launched, I am expecting a number of new features in the coming months.

The service does offer community-based channels but my sole interest was to share my videos among my family members in a password-protected environment.

I have recently tested a series of video-sharing sitesv (YouTube, Jumpcut, Ovi, MotionBox, DivShare and Photobucket) but Fliggo rose about the rest. Jumpcut did impress me in terms of video quality was but private sharing was not as good.
