Scan to PDF - OCR Software - PDF Scanning

Yesterday, I was facing a pile of credit card statements and old utilities bills which I have been avoiding to file for the last 12 months...Then I thought: that's it, I have had enough of sorting bits and papers into folders, a manually intensive, time-consuming and space hogging exercise!

The solution: go digital! Finally, I have made the jump into scanning all these documents to save space and hassle.

Granted, I do not usually promote paid software, but this one ($20 after 30 days trial) is a little gem. Just slot the document, scan and then save as a PDF file. The process is reasonably fast and seamless, allowing me to do other things too. Scan to PDF is also flexible enough to save as a single PDF a cumulative series of documents.

...And that beautiful and wicked feeling of throwing bills in the bin after the scan...Nothing can beat this!

I currently use Cardiris 4 to make ocr on my credit cards. It is a paid software but it gives very good results.
